Inspired by the Bad Omens song ‘Exit Wounds’, this denim jacket painting was an exeriment to try out painting on fabric rather than on a canvas to explore wearable art. Using fabric medium with acryic paint allowed me to get fabric paint from acrylics I already own and I used a second hand denim jacket to aim to be more sustainable with the idea of wearable art. The painting was a success and is now one of my favourite jackets to wear. I hope to explore wearable art more to expand the surfaces onto which I paint.
